Lighting upgrade projects designed, managed, and installed by The Energy Investments & Enerlight Team
Eastern Illinois University - Charleston, IL
The upgrade comprised of thirty (30) building on campus and over 16,700 fixtures, which reduced energy consumption by 850 kW and over 3.7 million kWh per year. Buildings comprised of residential, academic, sporting, mechanical, and dinning facilities. Emphasis was on realizing maximum energy savings while increasing light levels to IES Standards, and improving the overall aesthetics on campus.
Fermilab National Accelerator Laboratory - Batavia, IL
Upgraded lighting throughout the Fermilab Campus for the Federal Government's Department of Energy. We were chosen for this project over numerous other lighting companies due to our impeccable safety records and past experience with safety procedures and NFPA requirements.
Quebecor, Inc. - Mt. Morris, IL
Replaced over 650 HID fixtures and retrofitted over 3,000 fluorescent fixtures within a one million square foot 24-hour 7-day printing plant. New technologies substantially increased the light levels over the presses while reducing the lighting electrical consumption by over 40%.
CCH Incorporated, Inc. - Riverwoods, IL
Retrofitted over 3500 recessed fluorescent troffers within this corporate headquarters located in north suburban Chicago. the lighting upgrade enabled the facility to lower electrical expenditures by over $70,000 per year resulting in a 2.75 year payback, while increasing light levels by 10% throughout all areas of the facility.
Providence Catholic High School - New Lenox, IL
Replaced all fixtures within the classrooms and Gymnasium of this private high school to achieve goals of reduced energy consumption, increased light levels and improved aesthetics. Also upgraded remaining portions of facility to T8 technology, electronic ballasts, and new LED exit signs. Assisted in acquiring $40,000 grant from the State if Illinois to fund a portion of this lighting improvement project.
Tyco Healthcare, Inc. - Crystal Lake , IL
Replaced HID lighting fixtures, conduit, and electrical panels in production area and retrofitted over 1,400 fluorescent fixtures in warehouse, shipping, and office areas within a 750,000 square foot plant. Replacement of HID fixtures increased light levels substantially improving production worker satisfaction and safety.
Chicago International Charter School - Chicago , IL
Retrofitted over 4,000 fixtures and replaced over 1,000 fixtures throughout five schools. Light levels within all classrooms were increased to IES standards while still realizing energy savings of over $105,000 per year. |
